Early last month I signed up on Freckled Nest for a pin cushion exchange and was matched with a cool girl name Michelle from Canada. As usual my crazy busy life caught up with me and I ran (1 day) late in getting it mailed out.
My original plan was to follow the multi layered fabric pin cusion DIY to the T, but when I got Michelle’s email and read that she loves yellow and kinda-goth things I decided on a completely different direction.
I went to the post office today and after a half hour in line finally got up to the desk. I hadn’t even thought about needing to fill out a customs sheet, and felt super silly when I had to declare what was in my package. The mailman thought it was pretty silly too.
I hope Michelle loves it.
